Holmes Place Coimbra

The Holmes place facilities are gorgeous. Even with areas shut down for Covid the locker rooms, showers, and changing rooms were very inviting. The workout floor and the dedicated stretching area looks into a studio bright with windows and well organized gym equipment available for use. I was surprised by the temperature of the pool, I was expecting a warmer swimming experience (coming from California I take for granted pools that are typically just shy of 90'f). The jacuzzi was also a surprise since it was an air jet tub that was cool as well. The staff were outstanding and ashamedly I have no working knowledge or ability to speak Portuguese, the clubs director was quite pleased to have an opportunity to speak English during our tour. I was so impressed I bought a year membership.
