Douro With Soul

We had just one day in the Douro Valley, and we wanted to avoid the usual tours that pile people in a bus or boat. Douro With Soul was a great non-traditional way to see and experience the Douro. Natalie picked us up at our hotel in Regua and took us up to her small home village. We walked through the vineyards and tiny villages for a few kilometers. We stopped at a tiny chapel, stopped to talk to neighbors and see their gardens, and ended up at her parents' quinta, where we enjoyed a delicious, huge, home-cooked meal and the family's own wines and port. It was a great day, and we highly recommend Douro With Soul. Natalie is willing to customize the day to meet one's needs. You will be impressed with Natalie's deep love for the Douro, her home region.
